Thanksgiving on Lake Atitlan
When you get a handful of people wanting to do somthing for Thanksgiving on Lake Atitlan this may happen.
My friends Antonita and Peter went across the lake looking
for a turkey, this is who they found.
I wanted to name it “virgin” but my friends settled on the name “pollo” which is pronounced “poyo” and I am pretty sure means foul. Most of the time it means chicken.
Before we do anything hasty we proceed to get the turkey drunk, people on Lake Atitlan
tend to have plenty of time on their hands.

As the afternoon went on we were ready for action pollo and us buzzed on tequilla,
pollo strung from the tree Anna the brave ready with machette.
After the machette action Anna the brave celebrates a job well done.

Now the crew watches Merissa get to work on cleaning the turkey, I think
this was the hardest job. My only job was to boil the feathers for sterilization.

The end of the cleaning process required Antonita’s help.

Around 8pm we had dinner ready and proceded up the hill where all the vegatarians
were hiding to eat.

Thats my story of thanksgiving on Lake Atitlan, stay tuned for more…

Made a new design layout for my new site about Lake Atitlan.
In the days to come I will be adding a mailing list and current events to the new Lake Atitlan site.
